Monday
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Thank you, Jesus, that you came to bring salvation, then and now. Thank you that you came to save us, to change us, and to help us be more like you. Please help us to live and work in your name this week. Amen

Tuesday
Thank you, Father God, for the PCC who were elected on Sunday. Please give them grace and wisdom as they begin this year of service to our church family. Amen

Wednesday
Today, Lord, we continue to lift up all members of the medical professional as they work through the backlog of appointments and surgeries, while also conforming to COVID guidelines of reduced capacity, in order to keep safe the most vulnerable. Amen
Please also continue to pray today for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) (Open Doors UK).
Thursday
May your love that never fails continue to be shared
Through the kindness of strangers looking out for each other,
For neighbours near and far
All recognising our shared vulnerability,
Each of us grateful for every breath,
And willing everyone to know the gift
Of a full and healthy life.
Keep us all in your care.

Friday
We pray for all those suffering the effects of long COVID. We pray for your healing touch on all who continue to struggle as a result of this virus. Please clear airways, restore energy levels, and improve senses as they move out of lockdown, that they might be able to return to their normal activities. Amen

Saturday
God of compassion,
be close to those who are ill, afraid or in isolation.
In their loneliness, be their consolation;
in their anxiety, be their hope;
in their darkness, be their light;
through him who suffered alone on the cross,
but reigns with you in glory,
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
